Zelensky: Since February, Ukraine has shot down 15 Russian military Planes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country had shot down 15 Russian military planes since the beginning of February.

“This week alone, we managed to shoot down seven Russian military planes. Since the beginning of February, Russia has lost 15 military aircraft. This is the appropriate dynamics of their losses,” Zelenskyy said in a video address late on Sunday.

He added that the more opportunities Kiev has to shoot down Russian military aircraft, the more Ukrainian lives it will save by destroying Moscow’s logistics in the regions it controls.

Zelenskyy added that Ukrainian partners are aware of Kiev’s needs and that the key in this regard is “the political will to implement everything.”

“If it doesn’t happen, it will become one of the most shameful sites in history. “Russian evil should not be encouraged by weak decisions, delays in deliveries or hesitation,” he pointed out.

He also said that the Ukrainian army is holding “against attack” and defending its positions despite a significant lack of artillery.

“We are waiting for vital supplies, in particular we are waiting for the American decision. Support is crucially needed,” Zelenskyy said.
