Among other things, she spoke about the alliance and partnership of Croatian political representatives in BiH with Milorad Dodik (SNSD), emphasizing that she asked foreigners for an answer as to whether they wondered what made the Croats join such an alliance.
“I asked one of these international representatives, both in the European Parliament and the European Commission, whether they ever wondered what led to the fact that Croats have to seek an alliance and partnership with Dodik in some way and what led to disenfranchisement. “Croats in the last 25 years. From the very beginning, Croats have been absolutely pushed to become a minority, to lose everything they gained with the Dayton-Paris Peace Accords and, normally, that has made their position very difficult,” Zovko said.
She then said that Dodik was fighting for the struggle between Croats and Bosniaks, claiming that Serbs and Bosniaks really did not want to join the EU and that they were under Russian and Turkish influence.
The journalist then asked for comment in the context of the war in Ukraine, whether this situation could be used to force Bosniaks to reach an agreement on the Election Law. Zovko said that Bosniaks were essentially building a myth on the suffering and history of genocide, and that in such circumstances it was difficult for many countries to change their position on BiH.
“If you build the whole myth in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the history of the suffering of the people, on the history of genocide, on the history of the victim, it is very difficult to say no to the Netherlands, the concept you advocate,” said Zovko, adding that it was especially because “Belgium, for their personal reasons, because they do not want to face some specific problems of their federalism. Germany because of the entire Turkish population that exists there, so you have millions of Turks who advocate that Bosniaks should be helped,” said the HDZ MP in the EU Parliament.
In other words, Zovko is not interested in what Bosniaks went through because of the genocide as the people who suffered the most. Bosniaks have been the target of total extermination, and now this MEP claims that Bosniaks are building a myth on the history of genocide and that they are abusing it politically, Klix.ba writes.
