At the 16th International Haiku Competition which was held in Japan, PhD Smajil Durmišević from Zenica won the second prize, first of its kind in BiH ever.
The author received the plaque for 2nd place with the letter of thanks for participating and winning the second prize and he also received a collection of all haikus that participated at the competition, in English, French and Japanese.
