At the fairgrounds at Kamberovica Polje in Zenica yesterday was officially opened the 23rd General BH Fair ZEPS and 13th ZEPS Intermetal, which gathered more than 600 exhibitors from all around the world.
At the opening ceremony was sent a clear message that domestic economy is a priority and that interest of businessmen for displaying goods and materials on the fairgrounds ZEPS is growing every year. Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RMK, Alem Lalcic, said that ZEPS is another proof that BiH can achieve excellent results.
“We think about ZEPS as a special privilege and responsibility. Our mission is to remain a meeting place for businessmen at the time of internet technologies,” said Lalcic.
This year’s ZEPS is held on an area of more than 18,000 square meters and it will gather around 50,000 people.
“I want to say to all those who intend to invest that they will have the best conditions in the City Administration of Zenica in all of BiH and good luck to us all,” said the newly elected Mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumovic.
“Zenica is rapidly progressing and there are positive things happening here. We believe that the successful ambience is contributed by the Government of ZDC. Besides the economic crisis in which we are, we have to be optimistic that we have the resources to deal with the situation,” said Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Miralem Galijasevic.
The opening ceremony was attended by Semsudin Mehmedovic, as well as many other businessmen from BiH and countries from all over the world. Among those present was the president of the Foreign Trade Chamber Bruno Bojic.
Director of Kakanj Cement. Branimir Muidza, opened the 23rd General BH ZEPS and 13th ZEPS Intermetal with the message that the living word is much better and more effective than internet sales.
“It is fascinating that today, when you can buy everything over the Internet, ZEPS is recording an increase. This proves that nothing can replace direct contact. Today, Zenica is meeting point for hardworking, high-quality and ambitious businessmen. I am sure that these capital projects will have positive impact on the state of the ZDC. Let’s produce and buy quality, and our domestic products, because that is a formula for a stable development of our economy,” said Muidza.
ZEPS and ZEPS Intermetal in Zenica will be held from 4th to 8th of October, and the most successful entrepreneurs will be awarded with prizes as part of the event.
