What is the Next Bosnia Significant Project of Public Enterprise Highways FBiH?

highwayPublic Enterprise Highways FBiH d.o.o. Mostar launched a call on 19 December 2014 for submission of applications in the process of prequalification for the construction and supervision of construction of section Počitelj – Bijača, subsection Počitelj – Međugorje.

The call will be opened until the end of January 2015, announced the PE Highways FBiH.

“At this subsection will be built the longest bridge Počitelj on the Corridor Vc which is 975 m long and 85 m tall, with monolithic columns and superstructure among the pillars of 147 meters. The bridge is located north of the town of Počitelj, on subsection of the Corridor Vc Počitelj – Međugorje and connects the two banks of the Neretva river, crosses the highway M17, railways and local roads,” said Director of PE Highways FBiH Ensad Karić.

The subsection Počitelj – Međugorje has a total length of ten kilometers.

Funds for the construction of this section have been provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

The contract for the construction and supervision of the construction of this section will be signed in the first half of next year. The deadline for completion of construction of corridor Vc subsection Počitelj – Međugorje is 30 months.

This is a continuation of the new investment cycle of corridor Vc in total length of 80 kilometers. The construction of this highway section will connect the towns Počitelj and Međugorje with the Croatian border.
