Igman Company investing 10 million Euros for the Capacities expansion

The company for the production of weapons and ammunition Igman from Konjic plans to invest 10 million Euros in the development of new products and expansion of existing production capacities in the period between 2017 and 2019.

In the past two years, more than two million Euros of their own funds have been invested in facilities and equipment, the director of Igman Dahid Muratbegovic in an interview for the latest issue of BH Business magazine.

“In 2016, we generated revenue of 60 million Euros and a profit of 10 million Euros, which we invest in development. Already now we have contracted a significant production placement for the next one, and we are intensively work on contracting for 2019,” Muratbegovic said.

He added that the entire production of this company is intended for export. The demands of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are minor and entirely the needs for peacekeepers.

“About fifty percent of the production is intended for exported to the United States and the other 50% of our customers are around fifty countries on five continents,” Muratbegovic said.
