Zijah2After the award on the 7th International Festival of monodramas ‘aTspindys’ in Lithuania, last week, actor Zijah Sokolović was awarded the best actor at the 5th International Festival ‘MonoAkt’ in Kosovo,  which was held from 16 to 22 April in Priština and in Peć.

Sokolović received this award for his role in the play ‘The Bear’ by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov.

It is the 18th award for this unusual play that functions in a manner that music takes the role of characters, or in other words the actor is an additional instrument in the play. So, every instrument is actually a character, and the main actor talks with them. Sokolović is accompanied by members of jazz quartet ‘Lolita’, from Slovenia.
