Lagumdžija said that friendly relation between Iraq and BiH date back to era of SFRY. He added that BiH is interested in improving relations in all fields and especially in the reconstruction of Iraq since the country is planning huge infrastructure projects, just as it was in the period of SFRY.

Minister noted that there is a need to speed up the process of ending the bilateral agreements between the two countries. He added that there is a need for exchange of visits at high levels in order to accelerate the realization of all possible cooperation.

Abdulsad invited Lagumdžija to visit Iraq, which was accepted with pleasure, noting that during that visit businessmen from BiH and Iraq should also meet.
