Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ulrike Hartmann.

They discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and concluded that it is good and that there is a lot of room for enhancing the cooperation in all areas.

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Hartmann also discussed the current political situation in BiH. They agreed that it is very complicated and that it is necessary to end the blockade of state institutions as soon as possible and continue to work on fulfilling the conditions for joining the Euro-Atlantic integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, they discussed the BiH Election Law. The interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to work on improving the integrity of the election process in order to ensure fair elections in BiH.

Zvizdić and Ambassador Hartmann also agreed that it is necessary to work on the economic development of the country and stopping the departure of young people, BiH PA announced.
