1.5 Million BAM secured for Procurement of Rapid Antigen Tests

The Board of Directors of the Compensation Fund of the Republika Srpska (RS) accepted today at a telephone session the Information on the need to provide financial resources for the procurement of rapid antigen tests for the detection of the SARS-COV-2 virus.

Financial resources in the amount of 1,500,000 BAM with VAT are approved for the procurement of direct antigen tests for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, for the needs of health and other institutions in the Republic of Srpska.

The PHI Institute for Public Health of the Republic of Srpska is in charge of procuring tests, it was announced from the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of Srpska.

The Steering Board also adopted the Information on the situation in the Public Institution of the RS Employment Service with a request for financial assistance for remediation of the consequences caused by the spread of coronavirus, and concluded that the conditions for the allocation of funds have been met.

The payment of funds in the total amount of 3,000,000 BAM is approved for the remediation of the consequences of the coronavirus on the operations of the Public Institution Employment Service of RS, it is stated in the announcement.

The Compensation Fund, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Veterans’ and Disabled Protection of the RS are in charge of the realization of this conclusion.
