investorDuring the visit of the Chairman of the Council of the Municipality Centar, Nedzad Ajnadzic, and the councilor Velija Katica to the Association ‘Green Crescent’ in BiH (Yesilay), mostly talked about the project of the construction of a rehabilitation center for children and the disabled in the Municipality Centar.

During this visit, the President of Association, Redzo Causevic, and the Secretary General, Remzija Islamagic presented this idea to the guests from Centar, for which they stated that there is great interest in the implementation from the Turkish businessman who was one of the financiers of the construction of such a center in Antalya.

“Thanks to our good acquaintances and sincere friendship, a Turkish investor is ready to invest about 10 million EUR for the construction of this center in an area of 4 hectares where, besides the rehabilitation of children and disabled persons, would be located an educational center for the prevention of various types of addiction, which is the primary aim and task of our organization. Thus, we wanted to present this idea firstly to representatives of the municipality where we are located,” explained Causevic.

“We visited about 100 schools throughout BiH such as in Bihac, Tesanj, Zenica, Gorazde, Mostar and Srebrenica during the last two years. We held a series of lectures for elementary and secondary school students regarding the harmful effects of various types of vices,” explained hosts.

Chairman Ajandzic said that the Municipality Centar is interested in the implementation of such a large and useful project, where the Municipality Centar would ensure the necessary land and the appropriate permissions for the construction, provided that they obtain written guarantees that the potential investor from Turkey will bear the cost of construction of the center.

“I suggest that to start the beginning of our cooperation with the project of professional lectures, and training young people with the aim to prevent drug addiction, especially for students from elementary schools in the Municipality Centar, and therefore we expect you to submit us the project as soon as possible,” stated Ajandzic.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Association of ‘Green Crescent’ in BiH said they would continue with the activities in order for the Turkish investor to give guarantees to finance the construction of the rehabilitation center.
