At the end of June and the beginning of July 2025, 107,333 accounts of business entities were blocked in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or 34 more than the previous month, according to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The new report, which contains 4,340 pages, also states that at the end of June and the beginning of July this year, 58,723 companies had at least one blocked account, which is an increase of 43 accounts compared to the previous month.

This updated report of blocked accounts listed in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Unified Register of Accounts lists legal entities from all spheres of social life, from commercial enterprises, shops, hair salons, gas stations, pharmacies, clinics, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, and companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports associations…

In the first report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
