In the premises of DARS (Motorway Company of the Republic of Slovenia) in Ljubljana yesterday was signed a contract by which BiH company Euro-Asfalt officially received approval to begin construction of II A sub-section of highway Drazenci – Gruskovje (the border crossing to Croatia), in the length of 5.77 kilometers.
The project involves the construction of route, arrangement of plateau of the border crossing MMP Gruskovje, connection Zakl, plateau for setting up silos, repair of deviations on categorized and uncategorized roads, protection against noise, communal arrangement etc.
The project plans the construction of one tunnel, 3 overpasses, one underpass, 8 bridges, 14 overhangs and 19 retaining walls.
The value of this contract is 110 million BAM and it is the second job in Slovenia that this company from BiH received in only 8 months. As a reminder, Euro-Asfalt signed a contract worth 15 million BAM in August last year, which involves the construction of subsection AC Drazenci MMP Gruskovje, II-B section.
CEO Dr. Thomas Vidic signed the contract on behalf of DARS, and congratulated Euro-Asfalt on this occasion, expressing the hope that the agreement will be respected in all of its points.
Hamed Ramic, director of Euro-Asfalt thanked the Slovenian investors on trust and correctness, adding that he hopes that Euro-Asfalt will justify the trust gained in the previous contract that was signed in August last year, and whose implementation is running smoothly and according to plan.
The deadline for completion of the construction of works is 32 months, while the deadline for the construction of the tunnel is 20 months.
