Foreign Minister of Sweden in visit to BiH

Foreign Minister of Sweden Margot Wallström will pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina today, as part of her visit to the region.

She will meet with BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic as well as with two other two members of the Presidency, is announced from the Swedish Embassy in BiH.

Moreover, Wallstrom will meet with Foreign Minister of BiH Igor Crnadak and the Chairman of BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic. She will also meet with representatives of civil society organizations to discuss issues of gender equality and LGBT rights in BiH.

This visit will confirm the strong and friendly relations between Sweden and BiH and the continued assistance of Sweden to BiH’s integration into the European Union.

Sweden is one of the largest donors of BiH in the sectors of economic development, democracy, human rights and the environment.
