tuzlaOne of the most significant tourist events in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the International Tourism and Ecology Fair “List”, opened yesterday in Lukavac.

Until May13th, exhibitors from BiH will present tourist potentials and autochthonous Bosnian cuisine. In addition to domestic exhibitors, guests from ten countries participate as well.

Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Bego Gutic said at the opening that “List” fully coincides with certain strategic commitments of the Government of Tuzla Canton.

“Average annual revenue in catering in the area of Tuzla Canton amounts to 23 million BAM. Our tourism potentials and certain estimates indicate that we have the space to raise this revenue for even more. I expect that these fair activities will help us achieve this goal,” said Gutic.

According to the program, there will be discussions and initiatives on tourism issues through conferences and roundtables.

This year, 152 exhibitors will present tourism destinations, natural beauties, hotels, restaurants, tourist agencies at the fair.
