Jumps from the Old Bridge soon on the on the Preliminary List of Intangible Cultural Heritage

jumps from the Old BridgeMayor of Mostar Ljubo Beslic and the Chief Advisor to the City of Mostar Radmila Komadin received an expert for non-cultural heritage of Southeastern Europe.

At the meeting, they discussed ways of protecting intangible cultural heritage in BiH and Europe.

This year, BiH was the host of meetings aiming in the strengthening of cooperation and information exchange in the area of intangible cultural heritage. At the meetings, participants were informed about sevdalinka traditional songs and jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar.

During the two-day visit, experts visited Mostar because the jumps from the Old Bridge are on the Preliminary List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of BiH.

Mr. Anto Sain from the Old Town Agency presented a project for rebuilding of the Old Bridge, after which the experts visited the Old Town of Mostar.
