Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern (SPÖ) visited a Bosnian restaurant where he drank a Bosnian café and ate a traditional Bosnian pie.

He expressed his satisfaction because of the existence of such a community in Austria, which, as he said, enriched the Austrian society.

The visit by Kern represents a support to Bosnian community after the unfounded allegations by Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz, who said that Bosnian women are paid by some organizations to wear hijab in order to change the image of Sarajevo.

According to the estimates, BiH community is best integrated into Austrian society. Of all immigrant communities, Bosnian has the lowest percentage of unemployment and is its students are the first ones at Austrian universities.
