A total of 1,400 participants applied for “Peace March 2018” so far, and about 6,000 participants are expected at this event this year, as noted by the President of the Sub-committee of this year’s “Peace March”, Munir Habibovic.

He noted that the tour of the route Kamenicko hill is planned on June 27.

“We have been working on the route since the month of October last year and we managed to demine a total of 300,000 square meters in the area of Buljim and Kamenicko Hill with the help of the US Embassy. Moreover, we dug a 17 kilometres long trail with the help of the Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees of the FBiH,” stated Habibovic.

He recalled that organized groups need to send their application by July 1, and all of the individuals can apply at the start.

“The Peace March ” is organized within the celebration of the anniversary of genocide over Bosniaks in Srebrenica and surrounding area, which is organized with the aim of paying tributes to the victims of genocide.
