145 Cases of Coronavirus Infection confirmed in Canton Sarajevo

According to the information from the Public Health Institute of the Sarajevo Canton, in the last 24 hours in the area of the Sarajevo Canton, a new case positive for COVID-19 was confirmed.

As they point out, this person is tied to a previously registered family cluster, and is in self-isolation.

“The results for another 114 people have arrived, among which only one mentioned person was positive,” it is stated in the announcement.

Five people were hospitalized in the Isolation Clinic of the University of Sarajevo, none of them on a respirator, and they are all in stable health condition.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Sarajevo Canton, 9,152 people have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

A total of 145 patients were confirmed, of which 104 were cured, six patients died of this disease, four were relocated from BiH, while 31 cases of COVID-19 infectious disease are currently active, the Protocol and Press Service of Canton Sarajevo said.
