KIDS FestivalThe 14th Kid’s Fest Sarajevo united once again tens of thousands of children from all over BiH with a rich program that is aimed at promoting cultural diversities.

“Now we have an absolutely compact program of Kid’s Fest and every visitor from any city can enjoy the Kid’s Fest. We wanted the entire BiH to be in Sarajevo today. Our main aim is to send a great image of Sarajevo,” said Director of Kid’s Fest, Susanne Prahl.

She noted that their main goal is to send the image of the capital of BiH to the whole world, as well as the appearance of the reconstructed City Hall, which is a symbol of the city. As she said: “This is what the children will experience today, that Sarajevo is their capital city.”

Programs of the 14th Kid’s Fest Sarajevo were held at several locations: Kid’s stage at the Square of Alija Izetbegovic, Kid’s world in the House of the Armed Forces and the Art Gallery.

Kid’s stage offered an opportunity to children from Maglaj, Ljubinje, Zenica, Brcko, Sarajevo and other BH cities to show all of their talents through dance and recitals.

Kid’s Festival is the largest independent event for youth in South East Europe. Since the year of 2004, more than 40,000 children from all over BiH participated in this event every year. The program combines workshops, fun, movies, performances, and education.
