Value of purchased Industrial Crops increased by 5,14% in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In 2019 the value of purchased industrial crops increased by 5,14%, potato by 50,32%, vegetables by 28,68%, fruits by 65,85%, animals by 174,43% while the value of purchased cereals decreased by 35,39%, forage plants by 22,69%, products of animals by 9,70% and other products by 18,62% and compared to 2018, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

Increased values of direct sale/realization in 2019 compared to 2018 were recorded in potato by 19,22%, forage plants by 12,23%, fruits by 63,07%, material used for planting by 35,99%, alcoholic beverages by 28,41%, animals by 4,03%, products of animals by 16,65% and other products by 13,40% while decreasing of the values of direct sales/realization were recorded for cereals by 0,98%, industrial crops by 8,72% and vegetables by 5,60%. 

Average prices of purchased and directly sold/realized prices of selected agricultural products (output) are also given in this release for 2019. 

In IV quarter of 2019 the value of purchased industrial crops increased by 45,3%, potato by 16,6%, animals by 74,3 while decreasing of the values of purchasing were recorded for cereals by 45,2%, vegetables by 20,3%, forage plants by 50,8%, fruits by 2,6%, products of animals by 17,5% and other products by 52,2% compared to IV quarter of 2018. 

Increased values of direct sale/realization in IV quarter of 2019 compared to IV quarter of 2018 were recorded in potato by 61,2%, forage plants by 16,6%, fruits by 109,0%, material used for planting by 47,9%, alcoholic beverages by 1,4%, products of animals by 12,5%, while decreasing of the values of direct sales/realization were recorded for cereals by 26,8%, industrial crops by 2,3%, animals by 5,9% and other products by 5,6%. 

Average prices of purchased and directly sold/realized prices of selected agricultural products (output) are also given in this release for IV quarter of 2019.
