Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to BiH Muhammad Khalid Rao met on Friday and stated during the meeting that bilateral relations between the two countries are extremely good.

The interlocutors stated that since independence, BiH has had the exceptional support from Pakistan, and it was especially stressed during the aggression against BiH, while at the same time BiH provided assistance to Pakistan in difficult times, such as the earthquake in 2005.

The details of the earlier agreed visit by the Chairman Dzaferovic to Pakistan, which should contribute to further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries, were also discussed.

Ambassador Rao informed Chairman Dzaferovic that the Embassy of Pakistan is ready to cooperate fully with the institutions of BiH in the fight against illegal migration and that it, neither has been, nor will it be called into question.

Chairman Dzaferovic emphasized that BiH is interested in resolving the issue of illegal migration together with its partners, emphasizing that in doing so threats and insults to ambassadors accredited to BiH are inappropriate and unacceptable.
