A plane from Turkey arrived on Tuesday at Sarajevo International Airport, with 71 cadets, one officer of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina and two civilians.

There were also 17 citizens of BiH in the plane, who, with the assistance of the Bosnian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara, managed to organize themselves and safely transfer them to our country.

After landing, passengers are obliged to obey all instructions and orders of the competent authorities in BiH (border, epidemiological and health services).

On April 21st, the Council of Ministers of BiH decided to approve the repatriation of these cadets and professional soldiers. The decision states that their return was organized because of a coronavirus pandemic and a proposal for an emergency evacuation.
