Sarajevo International Airport continues positive Trend

Sarajevo International Airport had 121,762 passengers in January this year, or 4.7 percent more compared to January 2025, when 116,283 passengers were recorded.

During January 2026, a total of 1,155 air operations were performed (1,175 in January 2025), and 238.5 tons of cargo were recorded (241.4 tons in January 2025).

Sarajevo International Airport achieved an annual record in 2025, serving as many as 2,226,692 passengers, which represents a growth of 22.2 percent compared to 2024.

In addition, a record number of air operations was recorded – a total of 19,671, which is 16.8 percent more than the previous year, while the cargo load was 3,344,215 kg.

During the year 2025, Sarajevo was mostly connected with airports in Istanbul, Vienna and Zagreb.
