In the area of Duboki Potok, Skender Vakuf/Kneževo municipality, remains from the previous war were found at an inaccessible location and it is assumed that the remains of a number of people are located at that place.

A prosecutor and a legal officer from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH coordinated the process of preparing and securing the location in order to conduct an exhumation at the Duboka-Duboki potok site on Mount Vlašić.

The remains of Bosniak victims from Večići-Kotor Varoš, who tried to move to Travnik via Vlašić in November 1992, were found in an extremely inaccessible location in a mountainous area.

During the exhumation process, expert demining and alpine teams will be engaged, so that the site can be fully searched.

In addition to the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons were present at the location, as well as representatives of the surviving victims, and the location is secured by police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior.

The exhumation will continue in the coming period.
