Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic met on Monday in Sarajevo with Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Andrea Rauber Saxer in a farewell visit.

Ambassador expressed appreciation for the good cooperation, emphasizing that Switzerland remains committed to friendly relations and cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The officials discussed health and economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador Rauber Saxer emphasized that, although BiH is not a member of the EU, Switzerland supports Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path towards European integration.

Dzaferovic assessed projects in the field of economy, employment, health, development of democracy, and communal services, which are supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in BiH, as especially important.
