Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA)  arrested two people in Mostaron Wednesday for whom an international arrest warrant was issued by the NCB Interpol.

The competent authorities of Croatia issued an international arrest warrant for the said persons through the NCB Interpol Zagreb for the purpose of deprivation of liberty and extradition to the Republic of Croatia due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of “bribery for trading in influence”.

The said criminal offense was committed in the period from 1 January 2019 to 29 May 2020 in the territory of the Republic of Croatia in the capital Zagreb.

The persons deprived of their liberty are currently in the premises of SIPA and are under criminal investigation, after which they will be handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal deadline.
