Indictment filed against One Person who made Serious Threats to Security of a Police Officer

The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Tahir Celebievski, born in 1995 ina Sarajevo, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the allegations from the indictment, the accused is charged that on 2 September 2019 he approached and, unprovoked, directed vulgar swearing and serious threats to the security of a police officer from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH, who at that time was performing the duties and tasks of securing the US Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offence of Attack against an Official Person on Tasks of Security, Detection or Deprivation of Liberty of the Perpetrators of Criminal Offences under Article 241b of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
