Production of Weapons and Ammunition generated 305 Million BAM Revenues

At today’s session of the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the report of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on the operations of companies of special-purpose industry registered in the Federation of BiH for 2019 was adopted.

Last year, production of weapons and ammunition in the FBiH generated total revenue of 305,183,891 BAM, and export revenue of 236,689,313 BAM.

Total costs amounted to 262,045,112 BAM and these companies made a profit of 43,110,524 BAM last year, and at the end of 2019 they employed 3,513 workers. Total receivables amounted to 114,818,180 BAM, and total liabilities (debts) 195,216,154 BAM.

In 2019, the value of the capital of companies in the special-purpose industry increased by 34,856,982 BAM compared to the situation as of December 31, 2018, and for every 100 BAM of expenditures, they generated 116 BAM of income.

All these companies operated positively last year, and Igman Konjic and BNT-TMiH Novi Travnik achieved significantly better results compared to 2018.
