The Municipal Council in Bosanska Krupa adopted a proposal for the ban on entering and movement of migrants to the territory of this municipality along the entity line.

The website of this local community states that this is the first concrete step of the municipal government, but not the last, with the aim of preventing more frequent and mass bringing of migrants from other municipalities and cities to Bosanska Otoka, Srna news agency reports.

In the last few weeks, Bosanska Krupa has been facing an increased influx of migrants staying in the municipality.

The Operational Group for the Migrant Crisis of Una-Sana Canton previously made a decision to ban the entrance and movement of migrants in the area of this canton and the activities of the cantonal police, which transfers migrants from urban areas of Bihac and Velika Kladusa by bus to Bosanska Otoka and in direction of Republika Srpska, a few kilometers from Bosanska Krupa.
