The average monthly paid net salary per employee in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for July this year was 1,732 BAM, which is 1.5 percent more than in June, while compared to July last year it is 8.1 percent higher.
According to the data of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the highest average net incomes in July were those employed in the information and communication sector, where the average salary was 2,294 BAM. Right behind them are workers in health and social protection activities with 2,265 BAM, and financial and insurance activities with 2,263 BAM.
On the other hand, the lowest wages were recorded in the activities of providing accommodation and preparing and serving food 1,180 BAM, construction 1,334 BAM, wholesale and retail trade 1,381 BAM, and processing industry 1,414 BAM.
The average monthly gross salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina for July this year was 2,694 BAM, which represents an increase of 1.5 percent compared to June, while the real increase was 1.9 percent.
On an annual basis, the average gross salary in July this year was nominally higher by 8.4 percent compared to the same month last year, while the real growth was 4.6 percent.
