Sarajevo reports 68 New Coronavirus Cases

In the Sarajevo Canton, 68 newly infected people with coronavirus have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. These are the results of laboratory tests of 412 samples collected from October 6 to 9 this year.

Out of the mentioned number of newly infected, 42 people, ie 61.76 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts of previously ill, and they are in self-isolation from before.

In the previous 24 hours, the recovery of 28 people was recorded, so that the number of active cases of coronavirus infection is currently 322.

There are 40 people undergoing hospital treatment in the Isolator of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi, four of whom use mechanical respirator support when breathing.

One person was discharged from hospital treatment yesterday. There were no deaths yesterday. To date, 4,975 infected persons have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, of whom 4,566 have recovered from COVID infection. There are 776 people in self-isolation.
