Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Albania will be opened Next Year

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Albania, in its capital Tirana will be opened soon, and this decision was published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette of BiH, and was signed by Sefik Dzaferovic, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH on September 25.

The other two members of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik and Zeljko Komsic, also gave their consent. The decision states that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina is instructed to carry out the necessary procedure for opening diplomatic and consular missions in accordance with diplomatic practice and relevant procedures of the receiving country.

The opening of the diplomatic-consular mission should be realized during 2021.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH is instructed to plan budget funds for this item within its budget projection for 2021 – it is stated in the decision. During his visit to Albania, from which he returned three days ago, Dzaferovic announced that BiH would open an embassy in Tirana, Avaz news portal reports.
