Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic and Deputy Prime Minister and FBiH Minister of Finance Jelka Milicevic met yesterday at the headquarters of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo with the newly appointed Head of the World Bank Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christopher Sheldon.

They assessed the previous cooperation of the Government of the Federation of BiH with the World Bank as extremely successful which resulted in the implementation of reform projects important for the FBiH.

“We are grateful for everything that the World Bank has done when we implemented the reform processes in the Federation of BiH. In addition to projects and loans, the technical assistance you provide us continuously is very important to us. It is primarily reflected in the recommendations and experiences that help us overcome the problems we face,” said Prime Minister Novalić.

Minister Milicevic emphasized the importance of providing World Bank support in necessary and priority projects in FBiH, and called on them to continue to be partners of the Government in the implementation of reform processes that bring the best solutions for the Federation of BiH.

Head of the World Bank Office in BiH, Christopher Sheldon, took office on July 1 this year and arrived in BiH last week, stressed that the commitment of this international organization is to be a partner of the FBiH Government in the future, and provides support in implementing projects that are important for the Federation of BiH.
