Petition initiated by Dodik signed by 80,000 Residents of Republika Srpska

The petition initiated by Milorad Dodik with the aim of expressing dissatisfaction and not accepting the imposition of a ban on genocide denial was allegedly signed by 80,000 residents of Republika Srpska, reports SRNA.

The petition was launched the previous weekend, immediately after the High Representative in BiH, Valentin Inzko, passed amendments to the BiH Criminal Code, which prohibits and punishes the denial of genocide and other war crimes in this area Klix.ba writes.

It was first signed by BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.

Despite the strong promotion of the petition and the propaganda video whose goal, among other things, was the mobilization of the people, it (the petition) did not go very well among the citizens.

Dodik predicted the unity of the Republika Srpska, and SNSD officials like Sanja Vulić said that this would be shown by the example of the petition. According to the number of those who signed it, it seems that not all members of the SNSD, let alone the citizens of RS, showed unity.

Those who found themselves by name and surname on this list are certainly candidates for prosecution regarding Inzko’s decision.
