19.5 Million Dollars for Hospitals in Konjic and Mostar

Loan for Hospitals skbm.baThe Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the initiative of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury and ordered the delegation to conduct the negotiations in order to conclude the Agreement of borrowing 19.5 million dollars between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Saudi Development Fund. These funds will be used to finance the project “Modernization of the health institutions in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton”.

The aim of the project is the construction and procurement of medical equipment for the Clinical Hospital in Mostar, the Regional Medical Center “Dr. Safet Mujić”-Mostar, and the Public Institution General Hospital Konjic.

The repayment of the loan lasts for 25 years, including a five-year grace period at an interest rate of 2 percent per annum, and the loan is allocated to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
