The Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Canton Sarajevo (CS), in coordination with the Directorate for Commodity Reserves of the CS, provided assistance to the most vulnerable categories of citizens of CS.

Due to the increase in the consumer price index, and in order to support the most vulnerable, 2.500 packages with basic food items are being distributed.

Assistance packages are awarded to users of permanent cash assistance, meals, and other people’s care and assistance, who are on the records of the social protection services, within the Cantonal public institution “Center for Social Work”.

The allocation is realized in cooperation with soup kitchens in CS, humanitarian organizations Caritas Sarajevo and the Red Cross CS, and Civil Protection.

As announced, the Ministry will continue to support those who need help in the future.
