The Agency for Global Market Solutions (GMS) organized today in Sarajevo the second Business Cafe, an event where entrepreneurs/managers exchanged their business stories and other business information and promoted their businesses.
The aim of this informal gathering of entrepreneurs, where representatives of more than 50 successful B&H companies participated is the motivation of entrepreneurs in business networking along with knowledge exchange.
Milad Čerkić and Damir Ibrišimović, the founders of the company Atlantbh – the first web design and hosting company in B&H established 17 years ago were the speakers of the second Business cafe.
They spoke about the modest beginnings in a garage and about the work in a rented room where they developed the first web page, when the IT industry in B&H was not developed at all, as well as the later developments, such as web designs for large B&H companies, such as Coca -Cola BH or Bosnalijek.
“The IT industry in B&H currently can employ far more people that are already employed and we are working in that direction. We are working on the organization of an educational center that should pre-educate people and introduce them to the IT industry. This educational center named “Boot Camp” should begin its operation in the summer of this year and annually it is supposed to prepare 100 to 200 people to work in the IT industry”, said Ibrišimović.
Organizers of the second Business Cafe did not forget about social responsibility and they presented the Association of people with multiple sclerosis of Sarajevo Canton. Representatives of the Association addressed the audience and cash donations will be collected for this Association.
