More than 20 Tones of Aid from Sweden for Bosnia and Herzegovina

310501418hmThe truck with more than twenty tons of various humanitarian aid was sent from Sweden to the humanitarian association “Merhamet”. The help will be delivered for the citizens of Nemila, who are endangered by floods and landslides.

According to words of  President HO “Merhamet”  Hajrudin Šahić, the help will be delivered to Nemila, Topčić-Polje, Šerići, Smajići, Orahovice, Vukotića and Kolića.

The President of the Local community Nemila and head of the Crisis Staff Nijaz Lužić informed Šahić with the current situation in the surrounding local communities.

Lužić  stressed that the humanitarian aid will help many families that remained without anything.

In Topčić-Polje , at least fifteen houses were totally destroyed and 50 were damaged.

In Šerići  fifteen houses were damaged and six were completely destroyed .

The situation is similar in places Vukotić and Orahovica where 60 buildings were damaged and three were destroyed .
