The law on higher fines for parking in places for people with disabilities came into force today, which implies that fines for such violations will amount to 200 BAM.

The initiative was initiated by SDP representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament Saša Magazinović. In April of this year, the law was voted in the House of Representatives.

Later, on June 15, the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament adopted the reports of the joint commissions of both houses of the Parliament on amendments to the Law on the Basics of Traffic Safety on Roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus the law was adopted.

In these changes, it is foreseen that for illegal parking in a place for people with disabilities, a financial fine of 200 BAM is imposed.

Another regulation concerning parking for people with disabilities is in the parliamentary procedure.

That is, the BiH House of Representatives unanimously adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH, with the aim that people with disabilities of 80 percent or more have the right to an accessibility sign.

Magazinović also announced that he will start checking fake stickers, and who produces them, if it is true, Klix.ba reports.
