2,09% Decrease in a Number of live Births recorded in BiH

In Bosnia and Herzegovina during the first nine months of 2018, 21.006 live births were recorded, that in comparison to the same period of 2017, indicates 2,09% decrease in a number of live births; 27.182 persons died, that in comparison to the same period 2017 indicates 0,02% increase in the number of deaths.

According to data from BiH’s Agency for Statistics, there were 15.062 marriages in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the first nine months of 2018, that presents an increase of 1,29%, compared to the same period of 2017. During the first nine months of 2018 the number of divorces was 1.702, that in comparison to the same period of 2017 indicates an increase of 22,36% in a number of divorces.
