22 Medals for Young Karate Representation of B&H at the Balkan Championship in Istanbul

bh karateChildren Karate Representation of B&H won 22 medals at the Balkan Championship in Kata and fight category in Istanbul.

Young B&H karate team won 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 15 bronze medals, and at the final placement, B&H won the 5th place.

Gold medals went to Filip Ostojić (born in 2003/category up to 45 kg) and Ivor Krešić (2001./+ 55 kg), while silver medals went to Nihad Čolić (2003./kata), Afan Zukić (2003./- 45 kg), Nedim Šuvalija (2002./-45 kg), Nemanja Jeličić (2001./-50 kg) and Dženan Kreho (2000./+70 kg).

Bronze medals went to: Sergej Vučić (2003./-35 kg), Alma Subašić (2003./-35 kg), Jakov Bebek (2002./-35 kg), Pavle Dujaković (2002./-35 kg), Džan Mahmutović (2002./-45 kg), Aris Karamustafic (2002./-50 kg), Ema Nadarević (2002./-42 kg), Iman Begić (2002./+42 kg), Armina Avdović (2002./+42 kg), Hamza Turulja 2001./-45 kg), Aldin Mičivoda (2001./-55 kg), Amar Ovčina (2001./-55 kg), Nikolina Mišić (2001./+47 kg), Nedim Bektaš (2000./-57 kg) and Safer Tarakčija (2000./-70 kg).

739 competitors from 12 countries participated in this championship, and B&H is presented by 110 competitors presented.
