Contract on Co-financing Institutions of Science and Culture of Importance for B&H Signed

POTPISAN UGOVOR O SUFINANSIRANJU INSTITUCIJA NAUKE I KULTURE OD ZNAÈAJA ZA BiHFB&H Ministry of Education and Science organized the signed of the contract on co-financing institutions of science and culture of importance for B&H, at the headquarters of FB&H government.

Contract is signed by the FB&H Minister of Education and Science Damir Mašić, Director of National and University Library of B&H Ismet Ovčina, Assistant Director of Libraries for Blind and Partially Impaired Persons of B&H Sanela Osmanagić, Director of the Kinoteka B&H Devleta Filipović and on the behalf of the Academy of Science and Arts of B&H Amra Avdagić

FB&H Ministry of Education and Science in the budget for 2014 allocated 965.000 BAM to support functioning and implementation of the working ability of these four institutions ; 600.000 for National and University Library of B&H, 200.000  for Library of Blind and Partially Impaired Persons of B&H, 65.000 for Kinoteka B&H and 100.000 BAM for the Academy of Science and Arts.

“We hope that this money will improve the work of these institutions, which are objective and scientific institutions, not only cultural, meaning to prevent their eventual closure”, said FB&H Minister of Education and Science Damir Mašić.

“I am grateful for the funds that we have received because those will help us to overcome the current difficult situation”, said the Director of Kinoteka B&H Devleta Filipović.

The relationship of the state with the institutions of science and culture of importance for B&H is not satisfactory at all, with the exception of the Minister Damir Mašić, said the Director of the National and University Library of B&H Ismet Ovčina.

Funds are allocated for financing the costs of gross wages and employee benefit costs and other material costs.
