The audience of the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival tonight will find out the best feature, documentary and short film whose authors will receive the prestigious Heart of Sarajevo Award. At the very end of the festival, at 21 pm, a brilliant film with an excellent cast will be screened and there will also be a surprise for visitors of the Open Air Cinema.
“This is possibly the most successful edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival, and we invite everyone to celebrate with us with the movie ‘Tour de France’ at the Open Air, which will include a lot of laughter and action,” said the director of the SFF, Mirsad Purivatra.
The film follows Far’Hook, twenty years old rapper who, after one situation of unsettled issues, is forced to leave Paris for a while. He unexpectedly becomes friends with a mason from the north of France.
In this French comedy by Rachid Djaïdani, leading roles are played by Gerard Depardieu and rapper Sadek.
Film lovers are also looking forward to the fact that today is the hottest day during this year’s SFF. The ceremony on the red carpet will start at 7:30 pm and the Award Ceremony of the Heart of Sarajevo starts in 8 pm at the National Theatre.
Festival audience will also find out who won the Audience Award at midnight.
Awarding ceremony will be preceded by all day film screenings.
