24 National Teams to compete at the EURO

The European Football Championship will be played from June 14 to July 14 this year in Germany, and as many as five national teams that will compete in the competition of the best in Europe will be led by Italian experts from the bench. You can watch all the matches live in BHRT programs.

The most non-EURO coaches come from Italy, five of them, and in addition to their home country, Italians lead the national teams of Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia and Belgium.

The coach of Turkey is Vincenzo Montella, of Hungary Marco Rossi, of Slovakia Francesco Calzona, of Belgium Domenico Tedesco, and of Italy Luciano Spaletti.

Two selections each will be led by experts from Germany, Spain and France, while one head of staff will come from England, Croatia, Slovenia, Scotland, Denmark, Serbia, Switzerland, Romania, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Brazil, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Eight of the total of 24 national teams that will compete in the competition for the best of the Old Continent will be led by foreigners.

Georgia is led by the Frenchman Willy Sagnol, Austria by the German expert Ralf Rangnick, Albania by the Brazilian Sylvio Mendes Campos Junior “Sylvinho”, while the Spaniard Roberto Martinez sits on the bench of one of Portugal’s biggest favorites.

The only coach from outside Europe is the Brazilian Sylvinho, who has been leading the Albanian national team for about a year and a half.

The youngest Nagelsmann, the oldest Ragnick

Among the selectors of the 24 national teams that will perform at the EURO, the youngest is 36-year-old Julian Nagelsmann, who will lead the German national team from the bench, while the oldest is his compatriot, also a German expert, Ralf Rangnick, the head of Austria’s coaching staff, who will turn 66 during the tournament. year.

Italy coach Luciano Spaletti, born in 1959, is a year younger than Rangnick.

The most decorated Deschamps

Of all the 24 coaches who will be at the EURO in Germany, the most successful is the Frenchman Didier Deschamps.

Deschamps has been on the French bench for 12 years, and the 55-year-old expert and former captain of the “tricolor” won the World Cup and the UEFA Nations League as a coach.

Luis de la Fuente also won the League of Nations with Spain, while Croatian coach Zlatko Dalić won one world bronze and silver.
