244 New Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1.029 samples were tested in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity, of which 159 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in Una-Sana, Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla, Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina, Central Bosnia, Bosnia Podrinje, Posavina and Sarajevo Canton.

In the past 24 hours, four deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. Two men from Sarajevo, one man from Gracanica and a woman from Gorazde passed away.

“In the last 24 hours in Republika Srpska coronavirus was confirmed in 94 people out of 525 samples tested, and two deaths were reported – a middle-aged man and an elderly woman from Banja Luka and Pale, respectively,” said Director of the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health Branislav Zeljkovic.
