kotromanicevo 1On the 20 kilometer highway Doboj-Derventa in the area of Šešlije, 45 kilometers near the border with Croatia, the organization for the development of tourism of the region of Doboj “Rotor” with Miodrag Bosić at the head began the construction of the ethno-village Kotromanićevo four years ago.

Today it is a cultural and tourist attraction that should not be missed. People who have stayed at this place include US Ambassador to BIH Patrick Moon, High Representative to BIH Valentin Inzko, Halid Bešlić, Hajrudin Varešanović, Goran Bregović, Edo Majka and many other well-known people and tourists.

This ethno-village has houses that are built in the style of the Middle Ages, congress halls with 200 places, summer gardens, lakes and rivers, children’s playground, and souvenir shops.

From the outside, the houses take you back to the Middle Ages, and on the inside are modern hotel rooms.

“People like what they see here, so we are planning to build 25 more objects in the same style surrounded by untouched nature’’, said Miodrag Bosić.
