250 Films to be Shown at the 20th SFF

takmigraniSarajevo – On the occasion of the tonight’s opening of the 20th biggest regional movie event, SFF, several films will be shown. The gala screening of the omnibus film “The Bridges of Sarajevo” directed by thirteen directors will be shown at the National Teatre while “Dog’s love” will be shown at the HT Eronet Open Air Cinema and the “About horses and people” at the Meeting Point cinema.

During the next nine days, amateurs of the seventh art will have the chance to enjoy 250 films from 60 countries of the world at the SFF program this year. Numerous excellent connoisseurs of cinema, actors, directors, screenplay writers and other fans of this art will get together.

The film “Bridges of Sarajevo” will open the Competition Programme of the SFF. It is just one of the 13 films to be shown as a part of this program. A great number of films are this time elaborating identity and belonging topics as well as the conflict between tradition and contemporary world.

Nine films are in competition for the Heart of Sarajevo award while two gala screenings and two omnibus films are out of competition. Three world premieres, one international and five regional ones will also be shown as a part of this program.
