The BiH Civil Aircraft Register, run by the Civil Aviation Authority of BiH found that out of 85 aircraft in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 27 are owned natural persons, according to the Vecernji List.

The excerpt from the Registry is located on the website of BHCAA and it is available to the public from time to time. As stated by the Authority, the registration fee for the airplane is defined in Article 17 of the decision on the amount of fees for services under the jurisdiction of BHDCA and depends on the class and weight of the plane, writes N1.

The number of aircraft registered in the Register has a mild tendency of growth from one to two planes annually, on average. It was last updated on August 21, 2017.

According to that list, the number of aircraft increased from 81 to 85, while the number of private ones, used by natural persons also increased from 21 to 27. Names of persons who are aircraft owners can not be publicly announced because of the Personal Data Protection Act.

Models of privately owned aircraft are different. Most of them are Cessna’s aircraft, such as C-172, C 500, as well as Officine Rodaro Storch, Aircraft Industries a.s. L13 Blanik, Elan DG 101G.

The prices of these planes, at least according to the ads that can be found on the Internet, range from $100,000 to up to several hundred thousand dollars.

It is interesting that in BiH there is constant talk of economic problems, and for years there has been an increase in the number of people who have private jets.

It is to be expected that this number will continue to grow in the future, especially if the economy is improving and opportunities for new co-operation with foreign entities are opened.
