babyboomParents Mirjana and Rajko Gibanica waited 10 years for their first baby. After in vitro fertilization, Filip, Matea and Tea arrived at their home. A house of family Gibanica is full of love now. Their happiness is endless.

The first sleepless night will not spoil their happiness. For the new role, the most important in life, they are more willing than ever.

The struggle was intense and it lasted for three years, the mother Mirjana recalls the moment when she learned that she carries triplets.

“The first ultrasound was quite a surprise, it’s wonderful to be a mother, especially three babies at once, witness mother Mirjana.

Derventa municipality helps increasing birthrate financially. Parents who have two babies receive 2,000 BAM and the ones who have three babies, 3,000  BAM. In this community, triplets are not born for 32 years.

“Back in 1985, the last triplets were born in Derventa, and at that time there was a festival, says Milorad Simic, the mayor of Derventa.

There is a great task and obligation in front of Mirjana and Rajko. They say that they do not have fear, because their life’s ambition is fulfilled. The most important thing is that babies are alive and healthy.
